Important Re-entry Updates for True United Church
The True United Church Re-entry Planning Committee (RPC) formed under the Leadership of Bishop Shawn D. Bartley have begun meetings. The RPC are collaborating to review the Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommendations for Faith-Based Organizations. The safety of our members and visitors is our top priority, and we take this process with the utmost seriousness.
There is no definitive date set for our re-entry; however, we believe planning is required to establish a potential date.
The RPC discussed the policies and procedures needed for re-entry.
Below encompasses some of the initial recommendations from the RPC’s meeting:
Railings and doors to be sanitized at various intervals throughout the service.
Four Hand-Sanitizer stations placed in the lobby area of the main sanctuary.
Hand-Sanitizer signs posted in various locations in the lobby area of the main sanctuary.
Member(s) assigned pew(s) by family (more information to follow).
Orientation to educate member(s) on keeping their assigned seating area sanitized.
Orientation for digital giving to achieve 90 to 100% participation.
Additional trash cans in the lobby area of the main sanctuary.
The RPC continues to meet regularly and will provide updates accordingly. As stated, the safety and concerns our members and visitors are, and will continue to be our top priority.
